As an Editorial Assistant at AfterCollege, I was tasked with explaining what it was like to do a variety of careers to recent graduates. I also had to do so in a way that was as engaging as it was informative, creating a relationship with the audience and driving them to use the AfterCollege job search services.
Below is a post that was written about a consulting position that was available to many recent graduates. The subject, Bry, still receives inquiries about this experience.
Factoring in the performance of our daily product collections, blog STATS, and sales, I worked directly with the Merchandising team to identify trending concepts that would increase visitors to the blog and ultimately the Dot & Bo website. Combining best-selling products, a trending aesthetic, current events, and previous success of other 'How To' blog posts, I produced this copy as well as the photoshoot.
