Located just 30-minutes from San Francisco, this easy walk features wide trails, bathrooms, and level grade. Great for hikers of all levels, it leads directly to the beach in a hidden cove.
Distance: ~1.7 miles
Parking: There is a parking lot, but it fills up fast. There is also street parking along the road leading up to the parking lot.
Bathrooms: There are two toilets in the parking lot and another bathroom located near the end of the trail by the beach.
My experience with the hike: I’ve done this hike a few times. The first was a quick pre-work adventure with friends in my twenties. Eight years later, I returned for my 35th birthday, and enjoyed the big group walk followed by a favorite meal. You can find the full recap here.
